Our room was clean and spacious, and nicely furnished. Sue was a pleasure to talk with, as well as interesting to listen to about her time spent up in the northern frontier of AK. We would stay again if we decide to come back to AK, and would highly recommend.”

“Sue & Dave were wonderful hosts. I have never been made to feel more welcome than i felt here. Their home is huge and the spaces are open to all guests. It made for a real ‘family’ feel where drinks could be comfortably enjoyed while everyone told stories of their day and adventures. Never did we feel like we were an intrusion. all of our needs were met- even a few we didn’t know we had!
And the breakfasts were amazing! Well prepared and huge platters of food were presented and Sue even went out of her way to accommodate allergy issues. We started each day fully satisfied and ready for our day.
These folks even prepared dinner for us one evening so that we could sample the local speciality of hailbut.
